Brahma are a large bred, however despite their impressive size they are truely the gentle giants of the chicken world. Standing up to 75cm tall they make fantastic backyard pets, they are easy to handle and get along well with other breeds. Developed in China as a dual purpose breed they make both fantastic meat and layer birds and are a handy addition to the flock.

We have sourced our breeding stock from breeders who breed for type, correct colour and size. Our Rooster is pure Aven (import line) and our hens are from quality Aussie show lines. Our birds carry blue, with a 2% chance of hatching blue partridge.
